The new FUNKE Media Office, occupying some 32,000 m², is one of Germany’s most advanced media properties.

Some 1,200 employees work at the new FUNKE Media Office, which offers more than just the ideal environment for creative work as a group; the media property’s structures also create new working environments that reflect the rapid pace of the changes taking place in the business sector and across society as a whole.

We are delighted to have been able to advise the FUNKE MEDIA GROUP from the early phase of project initiation, including all planning processes, the design of the new working environments right through to relocation management.

Auf 32.000 m² ist eine Unternehmenszentrale entstanden, die effiziente, flexible Arbeitsabläufe und reibungslose Kommunikation ermöglicht. In Übereinstimmung mit dem Anspruch, eines der modernsten Headquarters in Deutschlands Medienbranche zu schaffen, trägt FUNKE auch den gestiegenen Anforderungen an moderne Arbeitswelten Rechnung.

Das Media Office von oben: ein 285 Meter langer, klar und elegant inszenierter Gebäudekomplex mit silbernem, zylinderförmigen Medienturm, auf dem Deutschlands größte Nachrichtenleuchtwand prangt.

Lichtdurchflutete Büroräume, modulare Konzepte mit offenen Strukturen und Rückzugsorten bieten das ideale Umfeld für kreativen Journalismus. In das neue Gebäude (Entwurf: AllesWirdGut Architektur Wien) sind unter anderem die Redaktionen der „Westdeutschen Allgemeinen Zeitung“ (WAZ) und der „Neuen Ruhr/Neuen Rhein Zeitung“ (NRZ) sowie die unterstützenden Bereiche wie Sales, Finance und Marketing eingezogen.
